John’s career spans high-level property and financial transactions, including over 70 sale-and-leaseback deals, financing BBC sites, and underwriting ICI’s London headquarters. He also built a wealth management business overseeing £600M in client assets, giving him extensive insight into investment strategy and financial optimisation. So he knows a thing or two.

Since moving to Madeira, John advises on acquisitions across Funchal, Prazeres, Porto Santo, Calheta, and Câmara de Lobos. He helps investors navigate the property market efficiently, combining local expertise with financial acumen to secure the best opportunities and maximise returns.
